Frost-proof yard hydrant has a shut-off valve, which operates below the front line to supply running water, even in the coldest weather. The hydrant is self-draining when the handle is in the closed position to prevent freezing.
- Cast iron head can be locked with a padlock to prevent unauthorized use
- Strong 1" corrosion-resistant stand-pipe for long life
- Brass connecting rod provides smooth, easy, leak-proof operation, will not rust or cut into packing
- Sturdy Buna-N plunger with a solid brass core provides leak-proof seal in all temperatures
- Nylon valve seat provides perfect leak-proof seal and can be easily replaced
- Rod, plunger, seat and linkage are replaceable without digging
- Plunger is easily adjustable with square head set screw
- Drain port is tapped for 1/8" FPT
