Solderless Ring Terminals are the most commonly used style of Terminal. Provides a means for terminating a primary wire to a more permanent location, such as a terminal block. Not for use where frequent removal is necessary. To install strip 1/4" of insulation from Primary Wire end and insert into Terminal end, butting up to the barrel of the Female Terminal. A crimp is made on the insulation over the Terminal end, crimping the wire end inside the Terminal barrel. The Terminal is tin-plated copper providing excellent conductivity and covered with a flared PVC vinyl insulation. The flared insulation allows for easy insertion into the Terminal. Terminal is color coded Red to indicate 22-16 AWG gauge of wire is to be used. Select the Stud Size of the Ring Terminal based on your application.
