Tap-In Connectors allow direct tapping into an existing circuit without interrupting service. Insert hot wire and tap-in wire into connector, compress metal clip with pliers and snap cover closed. When compressed, metal clip pierces the insulation of both wires forming a direct electrical connection between them. The connection is quickly formed with no cutting or stripping of any wires. Connector is color coded Blue to indicate 18-14 AWG gauge of wire is to be used.
