Butt Connector 22-16 AWG Nylon Insulated Tin-Plated Copper Butted Seam 11/pk

Butt Connectors splice two primary wires together providing insulation from wire to wire. Both wire ends are stripped 1/4" of their insulation and each inserted into the two different ends, butting up to the barrel of the Butt Connector. A crimp is then made on the Connector, one over each wire end. The barrel is tin-plated copper providing excellent conductivity and covered with a clear nylon insulation. The clear insulation allows you to see the wire insulation is fully butted against the barrel of the Connector. Butt Connector is color coded Red to indicated 22-16 AWG gauge of wire is to be used.
