The brass check valve keeps prime in jet, submersible and centrifugal pumps. When a pump shuts off, the check valve closes to prevent the water from traveling back to the pump.
- Vertical or horizontal application prevent back flow to the pump
- Heavy cast brass body is rated for 200 psi
- Solid brass design meets federal low lead regulations
- Poppet design with heavy stainless steel core with Buna-N rubber covering
- A molded cross prevents shutoff from over tightening
- Two O-rings are molded into the poppet so they can't be dislodged
- The top ring seals at low pressure and both rings seal at high pressure

- The aerodynamic design of the non-corrosive stem guide prevents poppet rotation and provides improved flow
